Wow amazing!~My dream car

almost 200,000 miles on a truck that blends in with the rest of the crowd

try this idea first:

1940 international kb1 pickup truck - 100

1986 extended cab s10 for frame and electronics - 1000

strong engine and rebuilt transmission - 3500

paint and body at home - 300

interior (not much) - 100

bolts, lights, and misc accessories - 500

rims and tires - 600

total - 6,100

for a sick custom ride that will turn heads and smoke a stock lightning on the track

the white/red chevy on 22s at other pump is ~6000 bucks worth of almost keeping up with a stock lightning.

My buddy has a 2002 silver lightning, he had so sell it because it had terrible gas mileage.

100 mile round trip to work + 93 octane + 10 MPG= teh lose //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

buddy of mine totalled a 02 i think lightning, it was silver, had some mild work done, dyno'ed right around 500rwhp. i drove it, it was a fun truck, definitely needs help with traction but it was quick.

and since they dont turn well at all, i'd only use it for straightline and if i'm building something to win, i'd rather have a built auto and nice stall convertor anyway

i like keeping manuals to fun street cars and autos for track purposed vehicles. just my preference, depends how mild or extreme i were to build whichever vehicle it was.
