i dont really see what you want here... why is driving 45 min in a mustang not good? i assume that is highway driving? if so a mustang is idealWell, I was looking for something to drive in the winter anyways, as driving 45 minutes each way to school...not good in a Mustang. The plan was get an old beater, since I'll only drive it a couple months out of the year.
Then...I got in some trouble with the law, and looks like I might not be driving the mustang for the next year, but still need to figure some things out.
What that means? I'll be getting a little bit of a better vehicle. Need something low on car insurance, so sporty cars are defiently out of the picture.
My buddy suggest I buy a Jeep Wrangler, because he's in love with his. He admited it'll **** in winter...or anytime it's not hot out, but they are fun. I've driven my brother's a few times and love it...but can't see them being near as fun when I can't feel my fingers.
Then, I started thinking Jeep Grand Cherokee, or atleast some sort of SUV style car. Then I can focus more on audio, and not worry about having the temptation to be generous on the gas peddle.
Kicker? Looking for a max of $4k-$6k. I'll have about $2k to put down in a little over a month, so I can get a nice downpayment, and finance the last bit.
its true... http://lesbianlife.about.com/od/otherfunstuff/tp/LesbianCars.htmJeep Wranglers are for lesbians //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

my experience has been the total opposite with them. plus, those 5.0's get like 12 MPG if anyone is wondering.get a 95-2001 explorer, get a 5.0 and get a 4wd, you will solve all your problems, they are cheap to fix, and get decent gas mileage comparatively. You can also find them for cheaper then your limit. And against what most people think, they are fairly reliable.
I would go with a Toyota Corolla. Easy to maintain, and repairs should be inexpensive although I am not sure. Overall, good gas mileage.
Dont get anything that was stated here.. . . . . . you may get a reliable car, but you lose your manhood by getting these.Civic, Integra, Corolla, cavalier(you can get a fairly new one for that much)
