New vehicle...hmmm...need ideas.

96+ 4Runners with the 3.4L V6... don't go older, the 3.Slows are GUTLESS... plus they **** major nuts for audio... The doors are like 6" deep so nice comps have to be totally custom...

but in 96 everything changed.... doors are more friendly, the 3.4 has some spunk (50 more hp) and the droopy rear springs are gone...

You can find them in good shape around 5-6k but it depends on when and where... when I was selling my 95 they where really low... (I got 4k)

Well, I was looking for something to drive in the winter anyways, as driving 45 minutes each way to school...not good in a Mustang. The plan was get an old beater, since I'll only drive it a couple months out of the year.
Then...I got in some trouble with the law, and looks like I might not be driving the mustang for the next year, but still need to figure some things out.

What that means? I'll be getting a little bit of a better vehicle. Need something low on car insurance, so sporty cars are defiently out of the picture.

My buddy suggest I buy a Jeep Wrangler, because he's in love with his. He admited it'll **** in winter...or anytime it's not hot out, but they are fun. I've driven my brother's a few times and love it...but can't see them being near as fun when I can't feel my fingers.

Then, I started thinking Jeep Grand Cherokee, or atleast some sort of SUV style car. Then I can focus more on audio, and not worry about having the temptation to be generous on the gas peddle.

Kicker? Looking for a max of $4k-$6k. I'll have about $2k to put down in a little over a month, so I can get a nice downpayment, and finance the last bit.
i dont really see what you want here... why is driving 45 min in a mustang not good? i assume that is highway driving? if so a mustang is ideal

if you're worried about getting stuck maybe get a 4x4 ranger (or any other mini truck)... they are fun to drive, easy to customize, and have the 4x4 ability without being huge as **** and still get **** good gas mileage... plus cheap *** insurance

get a 95-2001 explorer, get a 5.0 and get a 4wd, you will solve all your problems, they are cheap to fix, and get decent gas mileage comparatively. You can also find them for cheaper then your limit. And against what most people think, they are fairly reliable.

my experience has been the total opposite with them. plus, those 5.0's get like 12 MPG if anyone is wondering.

I would go with a Toyota Corolla. Easy to maintain, and repairs should be inexpensive although I am not sure. Overall, good gas mileage.
Civic, Integra, Corolla, cavalier(you can get a fairly new one for that much)
Dont get anything that was stated here.. . . . . . you may get a reliable car, but you lose your manhood by getting these.

8. Dodge Magnum

For the butch with a family, or one who just isn't a truck person, Dodge has come out with a great muscle car for the lesbian body builder. What you give up in fuel economy, you make up for in power. The Dodge Magnum RT delivers 340 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque from its 5.7 Liter Hemi V8 engine. If you know what that means, then this is the car for you.

Holy shit.
