new system

I'm headin to a truck show come mid july in texas called heatwave....some of you might of heard of it but anyways im wantin to buy a nice system there since everything is so cheap... i have a 99 ford reg cab so it's not leavin me much room for bass... right now i have two jl audio w0s wired for a 4 ohm load goin into a jbl bp300.1 amp... i just bought the truck and he already has some decent highs in the door but I haven't popped the panels off to see what they are. IT sounds decent but isnt near loud enough and i know my subs dont have enough air space with each side only being selaed at .8^3ft. Wire is already run for two amps so i was thinkin maybe two w3v2s a 500/1 amp and the new JL zr570 csi components and possibly a jl300/4 to run the front and rear highs... any other suggestions on subs and amp combos that would work with such a small space??

stuff is overpriced *IMO* - however good it is.

just make sure you amp your door speakers and you will be much happier.

yeah thats my first buy for sure....and i know its overpriced but thats why i was askin...what else can i get that will be just as nice?? I'm the type who is just stickin with it because it's all i;ve ever bought and loved how clean the sound was...

If you want jl then get it. Most peopole who complain about how much it costs cant even afford it. Get over the price, lets talk about how it sounds!

haha..i hope that wasnt directed to me...thats exactly what im lookin for is someone who can compete in the sound dept as well as JL has for me...i could care less about the price it most cases

No it wasnt 2 u. I say who cares about the price as long as u can afford it, and it sounds good then go for it.

sorry for late response but max mounting depth for my box is 7.75" with air space of .8 cu ft per side....

u said u have a reg cab but u want a 300/4 for fronts and rears...what am i missing here? rear fill is not necessary in a reg cab...or most cars even

i see your point there but when i've priced amps so far it's not much more to get a 300/4 over a 300/2 so why not have the rears amplified??

What he's trying to see is why have rears in the first place.

A pair of RL-i 8"s might fit you nicely. They have a 5.7" mounting depth and are recommended for very small spaces.
