@PlugItIn, yes sir, you are correct. I do not plan to do this installation myself. In order to save bucks on the system, I decided to purchase all of the components myself, and shop around for the best install deal. At that point I will have a custom box installed and extra batteries added, as per the installers reccomendation. I know how these guys overprice their hardware, so I decided to cut that profit out of the sale.

youll probably get charged out the ass for installation of anything that you have bought anywhere else. anything of that power is going to take a lot from a charging system to power.

Ok, I will purchase this HO alternator 250 AMP High Output Alternator Nissan 350Z Infinity G35 Parts - DragTimes.com good for 250 AMPs, 190 @ idle. Will this do the job? Also there is this one https://www.dcpowerinc.com/11051-270-xp.html?year=12&make=314&model=1130&engine=2009

get the DC alty, and run a sundown saz2500 @ .5

Physics tells me that lower resistance will be prone to more issues... I would be more comfortable running a 2 OHM load for daily use.

the sundown amps have no problems running with that load. and after box rise youll be closer to 1-2 ohms anyways

brand doesnt matter besides how much power it puts out and the quality. youll need it for anything that takes that much power.
