FOR SALE: Brand New JL Audio VXi / C6 System Package

All equipment is BRAND NEW IN BOX and was purchased from an authorized JL Audio dealer. Components were brought home and stored indoors in a climate-controlled closet. Nothing has ever been installed, powered up, or used.

Included:

• (2) JL Audio C6-650 6.5” Component Speaker Systems

• (1) JL Audio VX800/8i 8-Channel DSP Amplifier

• (1) JL Audio VX1000/1i Mono DSP Amplifier

• (1) JL Audio XD-CLRAIC4-18 4-Channel RCA Interconnect (18’)

• (1) JL Audio XD-CLRAIC2-18 2-Channel RCA Interconnect (18’)

Current retail value is approximately $5,485 before tax. Prices continue to increase for car audio equipment so the sooner you purchase, the cheaper it will be.

This is a premium JL Audio sound quality system featuring VXi amplifiers with integrated DSP processing and flagship C6 component speakers. Perfect foundation for a high-end custom build.

Asking $5,000 for everything.

May separate for the right price, but preference will be given to package buyers.

Located in California, can make arrangements for shipping but that will be at your own expense.

Serious inquiries only and this is NOT a fire sale!

I decided to go a different direction with my custom build for my ‘68 Firebird so I need to sell this equipment to be able to fund and start that build.

Additional photos available upon request but did include the JL/Garmin links provided for each product for reference and specs.

Forum rules, per listing:

You need to include a piece of paper with your caraudio.com username and the current date next to at least one of the pieces of equipment or at least an open box, so that the equipment is visible - not just the box.

Nice gear, GLWS!

Thanks for catching that! I was having issues with that one photo but I finally got it to add. Thanks!

That is some nice equipment. Can you share some pics of the car? Can I also ask what direction you decided to go? JL is a hard brand to beat. I've always liked the Firebirds front end over the Camero. I've done a lot of custom installs on 67-69 Firebirds and Cameros.

Yeah it’s a nice setup and love the products which is why I made the comment of it not being a fire sale. If I don’t sell it all, I wouldn’t be terribly upset LOL. I’m still deciding for sure but I’m likely going with Audison Voce II 3-way sets if it all does sell. If they don’t sell, I’ll just buy the JL midranges and run everything active anyways. And yes we originally looked at the Camaros before my dad & I went to look at a Firebird. Then we strictly looked for a Firebird after that since we liked them better and Camaros are all over. Then found my ‘68 in 2000 for my 1st car, still have it! Not sure why those pics are showing upside down since they’re right side up on my phone but here they are!

That is a really nice car. Very clean! The Audison is top notch stuff. However, they are only "top-notch" when installed correctly in the right car. Old cars are not the best for high end sound systems. The reason is, when driving, the interior noise is so loud that is makes it really hard to hear the sound quality differences. I installed Moral's top-of-the-line speakers in a 69 Camaro with Signature Series Arc Audio amps. It sounded phenomenal with the engine off, but as soon as you turned on the engine, that sound quality was gone. I even soundened all the panels and the engine hood.
