yes, both boxes are sealed. Both have a terminal, his is wired straight to the terminal....mine is wired to 2 ohms. (im not sure if this is series, or parallel)

No, wire the DVC in series, from the + on the terminal, to the + on one coil, then run from the - on that coil to the + of the other coil, and the - of that coil back to the negative of the terminal. Then wire the two boxes together in parallel, from the + on your amp, to the + on one box, to the + on the other, same with the negative. That will give you a 2.6 ohm load I believe.
