Okay first i dont think mixing and matching amps on two subs is a good idea seeing as you dont really know what each one is putting out. You have a vauge idea, but because of different testing procedures for finding output of amps, the ratings vary wildly. Second particle board is not your friend. Thirdly i would recommend much more space for the Rs than that if you can afford it. My girlfriend has 1 type-r ten in 2.5 cubes tuned to 32hz. They like more.

Build a new box, sell the amps and buy one that will get the job done. No reason to run extra wire if you dont have to.

Dude, seriously, do some homework.

Sell that alpine and use that memphis and drop the ohms to get more juice out of it.

Do that and then come back and talk again.

A lot of people think by adding one more sub it's going to increase the output by a shitton, not the truth.

In the instructions for my last Pioneer sub, it says, "If higher volume or sound pressure levels (spl) than those which the speaker can reproduce are desired, it is recommended that additional speakers be added to the system. By doing so it is possible to gain significant increases in sound pressure levels. In some cases, you may double the percieved system output without any deterioration in sound quality."

Hmmmm.... Either bad translation or poor understanding of a audio systems.
