New JL12w1v2 sub......Keep ported? or go Sealed?

Which should I do. My slot ported box is a bit large, but would I lose alot of output by going back to sealed??? I know it will probably sound better.

You will lose a ton of output. Especially on a W1v2. Extremely quiet sealed.
