New Car-need Help

96' Sentra GXE.

I need to buy everything.

Willin to spend around $500 maybe more or less.

Im lookin for the best sound quality, loudness 2nd.

What are your reccomendations for speakers, subs, amps, etc..?

My trunk is very small..how much would custom sub enclousres cost?

2 way speakers? (speakers w/ good subs built in?)

Cuz i dunno if i could do a sub box and groceries or other stuff at the same time...

hate to break it to ya, but ur not gonna get a HU, speakers, amp, and sub, AND custom box for $500... especially one that sounds great

well, with $500 i'd focus on getting a headunit first. buy a good one that will last a while. figure around $250 for that. Then replace your speakers. You can buy a really nice set of component speakers (you'll probably need an amp to run these, not a huge one though). Then you can save more money for amps and subs.

I def. say that you should first get a good head unit, somewhere in the $250 range, then go with speakers or a set of components, an amp for those, then worry about the bump in the trunk.

does it really make that big of a difference if you amplify you mids and highs???
