what do you think of my electrical though, stock 80a alt, and a d3400 or similar under the hood and another battery in the back. think that 80a alt will hold up for 1600rms? and will it put to much stress on this tiny alt

I had a 60 amp stock alt and tried to run a 3.5k amp with just an XS D3100 (that was a looong time ago). My voltage was in the 11's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Only way to know is to try it and watch voltage. Play it safe, and then see if you need more electrical.

but then again that's a 3.5k im talking about a brutus 1600 lol which most likely dosnt do all 1600 watts, if you were in the 11s with a 60a on a d3100 with a 3.5k ill probably be in the high 12s low 13s with an 80a on 2 batts and a 1600 I think it should do alright, as long as I don't have dimming head lights at full tilt im happy

You should be just fine man..CRV-99 Stock alt..2ga power/supply, Big 3.. Two Orileys Super Start Exreme AGMs group 78..Im running approx 1500+ rms@ 2ohms on subs, and around 140x2 @2ohms on mids and highs

Electrical is weird, kinda like SPL. There are rules that things follow, but they aren't always exact.
