New Build Suggestions

Not trying to thread jack here but can XFL's really handle that much power? I have been reading up a little on them. los33 said their is little difference between them and the hdc3 but when looking at the specs the hdc has like a 100oz bigger motor and I know that probably does not have everything to do with it but I figure it makes a difference? I mean if they can handle 2k daily for that price then that is crazy
a pair of 12s can take a bc 5500.1D

I think 2' date=' 15" XFLs on the SQ-2200 would be the best option for him. Also, what is the clean rating @ .5 for the SQ-2200, I have access to an o-scope just curious if anyone runs it at .5 knows[/quote']
If I am doing this build for a customer there is no way I am wiring at .5 ohms. If he knew his stuff he wouldn't be paying you to do the build. Seeing that the customer probably isn't as knowledgeable as the rest of us he is going to abuse it. When he breaks something he will put the blame on you and that can get ugly. People will mess with gains and settings after you are done. If the guy doesn't know his stuff make it so he can't break it even if its on the conservative side.

I will just cut their hands off.
