New Build Suggestions

I'mPoor:(

Alright, so, my business has been doing fairly well with smaller installs, I haven't been doing any big ones until now, I have a $1,600 install on a 2013 Jeep next week, and the week after that POSSIBLY this we all know how people 'back out' so hopefully this build goes through we are pricing today, so I have never messed with audio this loud before so I am getting your opinions.

You guys fill in the blanks for what ever I don't have anything next to.

Vehicle: 2005 Ford Explorer (truck), Basically its BIGGEST gross size for a box is 47x23x36

1. Sub(s): Customer Preferred 15 or 18 Need Suggested ($400-450)

2. Amp: Need Suggested ($400-450)

3. Electrical: SHCA Wire/Terminals/Lugs/Heatshrink/Fuses $250

4. Alternator: Mechman T-Line 240A ($350)

5. Headunit: Pioneer-X5600BHS with DVD bypass while driving ($380)

6. Box: wood? I don't know if I want to use MDF and Double Baffle or use a different wood, recommend, $125 limit?

7. Sound Deadener: Stinger Roadkill ($100)

8. Labor: $500

Dont' do MDF, if you have the money get some birch and use it. It costs more, but it's a little lighter and a lot stronger, holds glue and screws better too. Dont' go nuts and double the whole box, just double where the subwoofer mounts and have a brace within every 8 inches or so going across all panels. Just as strong, takes up less space and it's much cheaper Amps I'd be looking for a 3kw amp. Very few subs won't get near maximum potential for longterm daily at that level. Plus with a 240 amp alt you'll have no voltage issues.

Thanks for the info, I was thinking about doing 2, HDS315s in 9 Cubes net, and running them off a SQ-2200, what you think?

Batteries?
Told him only slam all the way with his RPMs up with the new alternator, he has a very nice brand new AGM under the hood already so voltage shouldn't be a problem.

I think 2, 15" XFLs on the SQ-2200 would be the best option for him. Also, what is the clean rating @ .5 for the SQ-2200, I have access to an o-scope just curious if anyone runs it at .5 knows

basically. They are pretty beastly subs for price point, a pair can even handle an SQ 3500.1D
Not trying to thread jack here but can XFL's really handle that much power? I have been reading up a little on them. los33 said their is little difference between them and the hdc3 but when looking at the specs the hdc has like a 100oz bigger motor and I know that probably does not have everything to do with it but I figure it makes a difference? I mean if they can handle 2k daily for that price then that is crazy
