New build input.. Thanks in advance!!

Would like some input on a build for my 08 Corvette Z06. Really am looking forward in replacing the OEM Bose stereo equipment. I do listen to a variety of music. I want to listen to music crisp and clean with the right amount of Bass. I will be replacing the head unit with Kenwood DDX 9902. I would like a set of Component speakers on the doors and a coaxial set behind the seat area. Also 1 5channel amp and a 10" sub in like a stealth box which fits I the drivers rear compartment. Aside from the head unit, I have a budget on no more than $1600. So I really need know what you all think is going to sound best. I am more to the performance side and not to much of the audio. All opinions are welcomed. Thanks in advance!

I recently helped a Corvette owner with his speaker upgrades. He went with CDT Audio components and subwoofers. 3-way in the front, 2 8" subwoofers in the rear. It will naturally require custom installation, but I recommend 6.7" midbass woofers and 3" midrange woofers for your front doors. The tweeters do not require custom work, as they are the CDT imaging tweeters. They sound great and you can put more money into sound deadening instead of A-pillars. Will you be doing the install? Because that will take of a decent chunk of your budget having a shop do it.

I will be doing the install myself. So budget is for speakers, amps, etc.
