New Build 6.5Cubes 18" Sub 6" PSP Ports Hatchback

Just a little. They probably BARELY fit. Haven't tested yet but with everything planned out. It shouldn't touch the ports. Not the tubes at least, the flares will go pass it. That's what I'm scared of, the ports hitting the sub but I hope not.

Will do.

Updated pictures with the ports on (tubes not on). Just to see what they look like on.

did you flush mount the ports?. that gloss black is sexy.

whats the plan on the finish enclosure as far as covering it?

carpet,vinyl, paint, a combination?

it would look sick with a combination of black vinyl to match the interior of the car, with a gloss black top where the sub goes. yeah that would be sick as hell

and on that blank area on top of the box if youre not going to use it for an amp. i would suggest some plexy glass. with some thing engraved on it. and then light up too.

Me FTW....

and no we didnt flush the port flares, but in retrospect that would have been a nice touch.

i believe he is going to have his friend paint the box black.

and we might carpet the floor so it will look semi-stock.

also your idea about the plexiglass is interesting, we might look into that since there will be an amp rack behind the front seats

im subscribed, so ill be watching the progress of this enclosure. although it seems simple enough, it will be interesting to see what extra things can be done to an enclosure to bring the looks up to the standards of how it sounds.

i just hate to see a nice sounding enclosure look ugly. because ugly is not always loud. lol

again great job on the build and the attention to details.

Well I did a few measuring. Hell I don't think the subwoofers going to fit. Time will tell. Crap. I think it's off by like half an inch. If it is we'll just build another baffle......but I hope it drops in smoothly. I was planning resining/painting the box. But my friend with the shop said it'd take up to 2 weeks. That's too long of a wait time for me so I don't think the box will be doing anything else anytime soon. But the amp rack design is in the making. Since we've gone this far to make everything look **** good I'm going to get a really nice amp rack design. I'll definitely update once the sub comes in and amp rack gets built. Once again THANKS to JOSEPH aka Magic Man with the Magic Build!!!
