This is simple. This is a yes or no answer. I am not interested in hearing any more drivel and your cheese and whine show. Answer this question with a yes or no only.
Q: Did you pay for custom install?
Just to clarify this for you as it seems you are unable to comprehend what people write and we sure as heck don't want you to make any more mistakes.
Basic install is, here is a kit, there is the hole, here is the deck, fire it in and it's how it is. If basic mods need to be made to the kit to allow something to fit, it is basic mods only. I am sure that you do not work for free, why should the installer? By the sounds of it you paid for a little more than basic install only.
Custom install is simple. You pay, sometimes through the nose, for the job you want done and expect the outcome that you want. Custom install includes bondo work, fibreglassing, making things fit in areas that they do not normally fit into. You want flush and no gaps, color matched paint etc., you pay for it and it does not cost $50.00 or so, it is going to cost over $150.00 or so, totaly dependent on the vehicle, the equipment and what the customer wants. Custom install takes up so much more time that you somehow expect people to do for free. So, by your own admissions, with the price that you paid, and the work that was done and so that you do not forget the question again, Did you pay for custom install?
Remember, yes or no answer only so you do not confuse yourself here.
