Need some help modifying dash Kit. Pics inside.

Well what do you know, he has a single din and dremelling is not necessary.
If I were to build it up using bondo and filler, it wouldn't have scratches on it either.

Apparently I cant say whatever I want because at maxima forums I will get banned or the thread will be closed...

Nothing was free... Djfreestyl I told you that you would have to dremel and you said "I'll figure it out" Igor911 that I posted pics of had to dremel also and not a scratch... If you would have told me that if you dremel you would scratch he kit in the front I would have said dont do it simple as that. If you knew that you would scratch it then you should have used bondo in the first place because a scratch like that is unacceptable... AND WHAT HAPPENED NILESH? I THOUGH YOU WHERE "DONE WITH THE THREAD."

Anyway I drilled the holes and it looks to fit well now. I just have to wait a week for the new dash kit to arrive because this one was demeled way too much and there is space all around the unit. And if you knew you would ruin the kit I paid for by installing it that way you should have called in the am and told me I am going to ruin your kit if I do the install... The trim peice that came with the Z1 looks fugly and I dont want to use it. BUT ANYWAY YOU ARE DONE WITH THIS THREAD SO I CAN GET BACK ON TOPIC.

what do you guys suggest I use to make the appropriate adjustments on the kit? I bought a dremel but it is too fast it seems and usually takes off too much plastic and is very hard to get it even. Any suggestions?

Did you ever think why that may be? Every single thread you post there turns into a soap opera. Simplicity is your friend. Furthermore EVERYthing that gets done for you, you eventually have a complaint about.

Should I use slow or fast speed? Maybe I used the wrong bit. I used a cylindrical type.

Don what Dirty laundry is that? I believe I said everything. And the ONLY reason it turns into a soap opera is because Nilesh and his little buddies turn it into one. I repeatedly asked them not to post irrelevant things in a thread thats made for something else... Plus I was getting help in the last thread but you decided to lock it...

A.) Whos an Idiot? The capable installer or the guy who doesnt know how to use and dremel but hacks away anyways?

B.)Anything Looks better than that hack job...You should have done it right the first time with the acclaimed GXE kit as you were told. /Story

I idnt install it... ITs not going to be "right" with the gxe kit. I believe it looks uglier than the scosche kit once you sand it correctly.

The idiot is the person who is trying to be a smart a$$.

I think the scosche look MUCH better. Anyway my point is since the installer screwed up witth the scatches I whould be re-emburced for the kit or he should buy me a new one. This is my last reply to this thread. It is finished.

wow.... sorry for my comments earlier... thought he paid a shop to do it... but since it was free work... shove it bro. dont be cheap and get someone local cause ur a cheap scape take it too a shop and bend over and take it like a champ if u complain soo much.

and i have done a few of those kits and they **** pain in the *** that is why i use Metra now cause those Scorshe kits ****. and that link maxypad guy. he used a drimmel to get that shape and the color is off. but thats up too u..

What dirty laundry? Really want your business how that? Really want people to know the reason why I Only accept cash from you now? Im really not into putting personal issues out there, but if youd like I have no problem doing so in this case. I still have Everything saved.

You whine,moan and complain to no end. Its not s imple post, its a friggen novel and no I wont tolerate it. What I think and do has no relevance on how you feel. Hence the reason I moderate and you dont. I was assigned the task for good reasons, and yet everyone continues to agree that it should have been locked, hell many others think you should have been banned along time ago, but I felt leniant, maybe one too many times.

Anyone on this thread can see the links to the Org and Im sure 99% of them would agree that it should have been locked, most likely even sooner.

NOT the same Navi as yours. And if you look closely, you can see its a bit choppy in the top right and the bottom doesnt sit completely flush.

For the record, I think the job done on your car is certainly not great and Nilesh is aware of this as well. Although you were definately forwarned of fitment issues and were not charged for that portion of the install.

Don thats the thing! I WAS chanrged for that portion of the install!!! IT WAS NOT FREE! I paid extra to have it installed...

If I wouldnt have been charged I would certainly understand this and I weouldnt have complained at all. But im upset because I was chraged for this and in addition had to had to buy the kit. Im only upset now because I should have just bought the navi from you and had you do my install. Something tells me you would have made it nice. I dunno.
