Need some help modifying dash Kit. Pics inside.

He's cheap on the labour, you think he's going to pay for the fuel to come to you? Then he'll grind you to death on the labour to do the job properly.Well, wtf, he must think that we all work for free these days. I notice how he still has not answered the question though. It's not a hard question either.

Hey if he wants to come to the shop he's welcome to. I'll take a look at it, give him a price, if he doesn't like it, he can go elsewhere //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

WTF are you tlaking about. I drove 3 hours to this guy..

AND I did not know it want going to fit. I was under the iompression that this would fit perfectly while the gxe would match color and not fit as well as this one. There is actually a post on this here where I asked which one would be better...

Anyway thanks guys Im going to attempt to do this myself. I moved the headunit back now so it looks good. Now I just need the new kit so I can cut it.

Any suggestions on how to sand/cut down the kit to fit around the navy and still get straight lines? Thanks.

Make sure before you start cutting you mark a line.

also do some research to find out what tools you need to have a clean edge.. their is hundreds of different bits for dremmel tools.. learn how to use em..

I've been so lazy I still haven't repainted that to match the dash...but in the daytime it looks **** near close to the bottom half of the dash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Im thinking of just going with a file. And getting some sand paper to manually do it? What do you guys think?

I have a dreemel with like 100 bits but I am not sure which ones I should be using.
