For some reason, people keep referring to the Stereo Integrity Magnum D2 as the D2 ... I don't understand this at all since D2 stands for dual 2 ohm ... People should refer to it as the Magnum ...

I think it gets shortened to just "D2" when you talk about a Magnum in normal conversation, and it spills over into things you type. The Magnum D2 does have Dual 2 Ohm coils, but it's just a quicker way to referr to a Magnum.
