I have an 04 Gmc Sierra crew cab and was wanting to add some bass seeing how the bose speakers I have now don't come close to cutting it. The only boxes I can find for my truck are ones that go behind the rear seat (There's about half a foot of clearance back there). The boxes seem to only be for either 2 10's or 2 12's. I'm leaning towards the 2 12's seeing how I prefer the low rumbling type bass sound over the punchy and loud. Here's what I found seems would be best based on 15 minutes of googling:
Amazon.com: ASC Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 1500 Non-HD Crew Cab Truck 2001-2006 Dual 12" Subwoofer Custom Fit Sub Box Speaker Enclosure: Car Electronics
Amazon.com: Pioneer TS-SW3001S4 12-Inch Shallow Step Up S4 Subwoofer: Car Electronics
Amazon.com: Pioneer GM-D8601 Class D Mono Amplifier with Wired Bass Boost Remote: Car Electronics
Would this amp work with these 2 subs? Also would it even sound good seeing how it's so tight back there behind my seats? What wires do I get? I don't need anything special here, just some solid subs that will add some umf to my music and will last me for some years to come. Any suggestions at all would be appreciated.
