Heya guy's, hope you have all been doing well, I have not been to the forum in a long time but now I am having a problem I can't solve. Here is whats happening, every time I turn my truck off there is two VERY loud thumps from the sub-woofers......I turn the key off wait 4-5 seconds and then THUMP.....THUMP. I am scared it might damage my subs but I be darn if I can find out what is making it happen. I have ran through everything I know of to fix it with no luck. Does any one smarter than myself have any idea's? Thanks.

System is in my sig but it is IDQ 12's sealed and a ID 1200.1 Amp. The Amp is set to remote turn on and it just started this a few days ago.

Yes I seen you were still around giving out stupid info to people, I must say I was suprised to see a little ***** like you was still hanging around on peoples nut sacks but I guess thats what you do best. Now go DIAF and stop trying to run with the big boys.

i have the same problem..Had i seen this thread i wouldn't have made my own thread in general info..

Anyhow, i have the same problem but i only get 1 "thump"..I however am using the factory deck with a loc. Someone suggested grounding the rca's.

You little punk *****, you're the one who has not changed a bit. I went through the forum reading and catching up and I seen your same smart-ass, know it all post but I did not reply to any of them or say anything toward you, you are the one who felt the need to post in my topic and start the ****. i guess you're still mad because I showed everyone you were a lier on the post you have and also that you didn't know anything about half the stuff you were talking about. so I guess you're still mad over being made out to be a punk *****, lmao to funny, you need to get a life. Tell ya what, you can go back up on ignore and if you see a thread by me pass it on by, I will not be making you out to look like a little ***** like I use to, I already schooled you when I was here last time so I don't need to waste my time on you any more. /Ignore.

Also SBcaprice305, thanks for the info and trying to help me out, thanks. Thank would make some sence, I bet it is a bad RCA jack because it just started it a few days ago and I have tried everything but replacing the RCA's. Good info, thanks for taking the time to help out.

i have been told this can occur when the power stored in the caps (in the amp) are discharged when the amp is turned off, sending leftover power to the sub? does that sound like crap or could there be some truth in this?
