Need A Little Advice About Purchasing New Subs.

I have a 92 Ford Taurus and am about to have an entire new system installed. I'm going to go with the Solobaric S12L5 in the trunk. I was wondering if I should go with one 12 or two 12's? A couple of people have told me that one in a proper sized ported box will do the trick, but I'm not so sure. I tend to want to go with two in a ported box. I want my system to hit hard and sound loud. Some people say my trunk doesn't have the airspace to support two Solobaric S12L5's. Can anyone give me some advice so I can make the propper decision? Thanks!

Go with 2 12's in a ported box you wont regret it, you can always turn the bass down if its too loud but if you go with one and your dissapointed you would have to start all over.

do 2 15's ..u have the room.....i had a 91 taurus with 3 12's and a 90 with 2 tens...be4 my car got jacked by the cops i put 2 15's in mines

80

Wuz up 80inches? I think I want to stick with 12's, but in your opinion there is enough air space to support two 15's? The dealer who is installing the system seems to think that air space is very important to getting the most out of your subs.

you have more then enough room for 12's, and like 80 mentioned, even 15's. We've done installs with dual 18's....so I agree, stick with the dual 12" ported box setup, give at least 800 to each woofer and hang on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
