and jl amps are regulated iirc so ohm load won't matter to much. Oh and to the dude who said make it series (doing this from my phone and im bad at internet) making 2 coils series puts the second coil slightly out of phase with the first.. Coils in series will not be out of phase any more than one layer of the coil is out of phase with another. Speed of light is pretty fast.

look at the incriminator 5.1 its rated for 450@1 but realistically is 600-700w its decently efficient and small the price is in your range and like other ia amps its **** near bullet proof.

lol the jl slash series efficient. hahahahaha guess you just dont realize how much juice that regulated power supply really *****. the amp i posted above will draw 50amps of current max while yours set for 500w will draw 60+ not to mention you cannot run the slash at 1 ohm it will blow it. 1.5-4 only any lower and poof the magic amp smoke any higher and you are just getting half the power

I did a 280, then 140, 139, then choked on the last round. Rolled it way down since I thought I was going to break out with 1 second on the clock and dropped 1.4dB

Probably just more practice. If I really cared I'd just find a song and test til I found a volume level that I could just play it and not touch anything and get a perfect score. I know it's possible.

my JL 500/1 would have been perfect for you sold that lil guy for only $150 shipped. I personally have two sa-8 v2's on a Hifonics Brutus BRZ 1200 in a custom ported box. LOVE these little guys. I'd like to put them @ 800w each daily in the near future vs 600ec atm.

and yet he want to run 1ohm sigh did you even read the title. and i didnt say the jl wouldnt put out clean power i said it wasnt efficient. it's very well know that the slash amps are power hungry
