Tossing this up before bed, looking for an amp that can take crazy abuse (because if you treat it well it will last even longer :p) SQ is extremely important so high transformer efficiency is a must. Not looking for anything crazy, want a solid 500W RMS @1ohm. That's it. I know the SAX-125.2 can do ~450 bridged at 4ohm but I will be going parallel D2.

Also someone buy/trade my CDT mid 6x9s Q_Q (love you long time)

then make that shit series D2

There's a JL 500/1 on this forum for @ 200$. Solid and will deliver legit power.
and jl amps are regulated iirc so ohm load won't matter to much. Oh and to the dude who said make it series (doing this from my phone and im bad at internet) making 2 coils series puts the second coil slightly out of phase with the first.. Like ns out of phase but still :| I'll look up that jl in the morning thanks hispls, you know your one helpful mofo with all the crazy ideas I have

alpine pdx1.600 . nice sq amp and puts out great clean power . had a alpine pdx1.1000 and imo that amp was bullet proof. its protection circuitry was very nice .

will do rated at 4 & 2. which is also a plus

I assume the subwoofer is DVC 2 ohm? For some reason, I never liked, perhaps irrationally, the idea of running an amplifier channel with 1ohm load.

Have you considered using a 2-channel amplifier bridged with subwoofer voice coils wired in series?

Here are two ideas for you:

Precision Power PPI P600.2 (p6002) 2-Channel Phantom Car Amplifier

Boston Acoustics GT-2200 (gt2200) GT Reference 2-Channel Amplifier

The PPI looks very good. Small, cheap, efficient. The review of 4-channel version of this amplifier shows it does the rated power, with great efficiency. The Boston Acoustics looks bad-ars, but much bigger and less efficient.
