also bumpweLL.nYc , your argument is very one sided thinking. as i said, it goes both ways as the national league usually plays with the pitcher hitting. so when an NL team goes to the AL ballpark, they don't have to worry about having a pitcher as they will have an actual professional hitter playing dh. its an actual plus for the NL team. but when an AL team goes to the NL ballpark, as stated earlier they have to play the DH in for defense (again a person as big papi is a defensive liability) and also adding that they have to have a pitcher hit as well. thus a huge adjustment the manager has to make. but this particular argument has nothing to do with NL vs AL. the AL has far better talent and teams.

whats so hard to understand? show me a NL team that has a power slugger sitting on the bench that will put up numbers like a dh. So the NL team doesnt really have a legitimate dh. the teams arent constructed that way

if the rules changed and the mets had a dh next year...
