Berkman, Howard, Soriano, A. Jones, Miguel Cabrera, Beltran, Delgado, Reyes, I can go on...plus, the NL has a plethora of young, very talented players- Mets alone have Reyes and Wright who are both what, 23? And are already probably the best left side of the infield in the league...
Dan Uggla, Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, Pujols, Beltran, Bill Hall, Jason Bay, Matt Holiday, Garret Atkins, Jeff Francoeur, Prince Fielder, Miguel Cabrera, Jimmy Rollins, Adrian Gonzalez, Brad Penny, Carlos Zambrano, Brandon Webb, Roy Oswalt, are all under 30 and many are under 25, and are all either all-stars or will be in the future...the NL is loaded with young talent, whereas teams like the Yankees and Red Sox are getting older and older...

Oh come on man, Johan Santana is virtually unhittable facing against much better hitters and a tougher division. I never said carpenter is whack, just he's just not as good in terms of stuff against johan santana.
we are also missing a point as my overall argument is that the AL is much better as a whole than the NL. when it comes down to pitching, bullpen, and hitting. the AL is way more potent than the NL.
Also snova, you listed those teams that are on pretty garbage teams. Matt Holiday and Garrett Atkins? lol colorado is laughing stock of the NL. Jason Bay? Pittburgh is all i need to say. they haven't done anything since bonds left.
Dan Uggla, Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, phillies? yea maybe that's some talent there but who are there pithers? Carlos Zambrano, great pitcher but the cubs have been whack for the past 100 years.
