lol nah the cardinals are just playing very well right now. and whoever thought that this was gonna be a "3 game" sweep obviously thought wrong. i chose the tigers in 6 and knew that it was gonna be competitive because that is the nature of the baseball (except for 04 world series //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif).

national league pitchers BA is 129, AL pitchers 105. not much of an advantage. american league is balanced as well as 5 teams had 90 wins, 4 had 80, 3 had 70 and 2 had 60. 4 games seprated oakland and new york, so all the playoff teams were within 4 games of each other in the AL. AL has more "balance"

There were less wins because it was so competitive this year, the NL teams beat up on eachother.... more evenly matched squads top to bottom.
