2 15 inch American Bass XFL 15's 1000/RMS per sub. American Bass VFL 150.1 (2900 watts RMS) Rockford Fosgate P400-4 hooked up to Rockford Fosgate T2652-S. Mechman alternator. Kinetik KHC1800 1800-Watt 12-Vault Power Cell.

Is this a good set up? And how many more battery’s should I get? I want a system that’s louder than average and get close to the 150 BD range.

The subs are 2x4 ohm. What does this mean and how many ohms will I be able to get down to? Im always confused about OHMs lol thanks for the help

if you made a custom box and opened that port up some those would get very loud, prolly 2 more batts ,group 31 series

Ok I get some more batterys and what if I took out the middle of the port would that help or make things worse?

You deff need another box. A good custom box will work wonders with those subs, there are several on here who can design and/or build a box that will make those subs knock you kock loose.

new box man , pre fab boxes arent that good ,most are tuned to high

I have heard mixed feeling on his boxes. Try @double 07 ; or @Buck ; on the forum or @ jaydubb ; all these guys build great boxes
