My sub enclosure/amp rack trunk build (30+ pics)

great idea man.... comes out to be a much nicer result than the ol jig saw method lol im likin what i see and now u have thoughts in my mind to do somthing similar..... haha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Looks good man. I would try to get a better ground from your battery than the fender though. Theres not much surface area of sheet metal connecting the fender to the body of the car and wherever there are bolts there probably paint inbetween.

im sure he scraped the paint of the metal. theres no other place that connects any better with anything else, its all bolted together (the car) so anywhere you go will be the same.

nice choice on the sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i think 12 gauge wire should be good enough for the sub. it'll be kind of hard trying to fit something bigger into the terminals.

pic of the bridge wires, i have to then cram another set of wire into there to my amp. but kickass build so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

when i did that i just stripped the coating off in a section and just ran one wire from the amp to the sub and then wired it how ever i wired it that time

started to do the fabric on one of the amp racks. and I was able to install and wire one amp in. With any luck my sub will be in when I get home from work and I can install the fabric on the sub enclosure and mount the sub..anyway, here are a couple more pics...

Looks clean my brother very nice. Are you gonna build shrouds over the amps or leave as is ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
