My install's coming along nicely

Don't like the fact that the word "recreational" is inserted in front of the word "cocaine" or even "marijuana" and "medical marijuana"....it's still the same drugs no matter what.
Exactly, the modifier word is just indicating purpose of use. I began my son's drug education at a very early age when I told him yes daddy takes drugs, And daddy prefers his cup of drugs every morning with cream and sugar!

You just did that last week right? Explains a lot now...
What, cocaine? No no, that was back in the 1980s. Once.

BS. You are not...nor a nurse.
Engineer's figure out problems. You can't even hook up a simple 4 ch amp in car.
You are worthless to converse with.

And yes I could have installed everything my installer guy, I chose not to because I can afford to! And after watching HIM do what he's done for me, I KNOW I could have done it all myself. Maybe not as rapidly as I'd have had to learn a lot of what my installer guy already knows, which would have taken me a LONG time to do, especially with the belligerence I have to put up with here!

You dont have to put up with it here. Im sure there are plenty of other forums that would LOVE to have your lack of skill, experience and inability to listen

Yes, but the blowhards here are SO much fun to poke with a sharp stick! :)

And occasionally I actually DO get some useful information out of it all too!

John Kuthe...

What input mode will you be setting the PXA to?
With (6) RCA out puts, what input config do you plan to use on the PXA? Do you or your 'installer guy' even know?

You're so admit about using all (6) RCA's from the head unit…What input setting is the PXA set to ?

None yet, we have yet to power on and configure anything with the PXA DSP. And I was just looking through the PXA's Owner's Manual and I found NO hits on searching for the term "input settings"! Can you explain that?

Seriously….do I really have to tell you what fvcking page it's on?

If you choose to, I'll look there.
I was quite surprised that the term "input settings" is not apparently IN the document anywhere!

John Kuthe...
You need to look again…there is a whole section on setting up inputs.

How exactly does one get an 'engineering' degree without the ability to read a simple manual or decipher a simple wiring diagram?

If there is, it's not LABELED "input settings" at least as far as the lame-o search function in my PDF Reader is concerned.

I've got TWO engineering degrees, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. Bachelor''s degrees in each, and nursing too.

And I can certainly suss a simple wiring diagram, DUH! But YOU seem more interested in trying to berate me personally, which does absolutely NO good.

Try reading the manual…or maybe do a search for 'input'.

Did either you or your 'installer guy' ever actually plan out this system? Did it ever occur to either of you to maybe look at the product info and determine what is actually needed?

…And as far as berating you goes…

..Yes, but the blowhards here are SO much fun to poke with a sharp stick! :)

The 5.1 input configuration probably. with the two PHD's as the FRONT two and the four 6x9's as the REARS. And of course the subwoofer.
