My install's coming along nicely

No, all there are is fake systems! Your's included!! I've told you the only REAL system is one that bypasses the inherently weak link on any sound reproduction system, and that's the link between the electronics and your mind!! Yep, that stupid link which uses air sound pressure waves to get to your ears which then have to receive the air sound pressure waves and convert then to neural signals to your brain! Better a USB port at the base of your skull, lean back and PLUG IN!!

wait wait wait wait wait wait, youre spending all this time and money on a fake system then? why?

another thing is you paid 640 for 5.25s which are basically non existent under 100hz at any real volume level.
I don't expect the 5.25" PHD speakers to handle anything below about 200Hz, I'm/Were not stupid! Installer Guy just set some amp setting today, we're rolling off below about 60Hz for the 6x9 drivers and I think 200Hz to the PHDs and for now while still running a passive equalizer we are not high limiting the PHDs at the amps as each PHD speaker has it's own passive crossovers at this point to protect the tweeters. Have to be very careful with the tweeters when I go full active, probably in SP 2017! :)

What the fk has this install gone too. Holy sh*t thats a garbage mess. Why even bother buying a processor if you just use the passive crossover anyways.

Get another amp, powerful 2 channel. Let that power the 5.25 midrange and rear 6x9s, have it connected to a midrange bandpassed channel on the processor

With your 4 channel have the front 6x9 on a midbass channel and the other on the tweeter channel. You can then choose proper crossover points to match the vehicle's acoustics afterwards.

This lets your rear play music as well while you can just make all EQ and tuning for the midrange based on the PHD midrange. This makes the best use of all your gear while getting the best front stage results while still retaining rear fill capabilities.

Not sure why i'm saying any of this if you are just gonna go with a garbage install anyways.

It's no use, Jeff. He thinks he know's what he's doing between him and his so called "installer".
If we just quit responding, maybe he'll finally listen to us.
bet you he's gonna get low tier to mediocre sounding results compared to real setups and he's gonna say his setup's the best sounding setup in the world just because he has sh*t self esteem and overcompensating for a small pecker that he cant do an*l with his husband so he's stuck being a bottom b*tch for the rest of his life IRL.

This install is occurring in steps. Right now I'm still listening to only the HU via factory wiring. When we get the doors finished and the sub installed then I'll have installer guy swap speaker wiring and go through the DSP to my two amps, but not running full active yet. That will come maybe in the Spring!

All great ideas none of which are getting implemented, But thanks for your input.

Now THAT was uncalled for! Happy Thanksgiving to you too! ;-)

The idea of a neural connection for music with no speakers is retarded. In a proper setting, you can FEEL the music. That's the best part of live events. You can feelphysically feel it, not just hear it.

Moreover, that would be a "fake system". It would trick your mind into thinking it heard something that it didn't. Stop trying to sound intelligent. You're clearly not.

Really, though, if I knew it wouldn't get me banned, I'd turn this into a meme thread. It would kill the thread completely. Could easily gain 100 pays a day of nothing but memes.
