My install's coming along nicely

Most of us here have already done it. And could do it again with our eyes closed. I'm really starting to think you're a woman because you make things waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more difficult than they actually are. Hope you get it figured out.

Then why do you keep building bigger better systems?

better is a relative term but most of us rebuild with very specific goals in mind based on experience with prior systems, i know youve been attacked quite a good bit, and might i add not necessarily unprovoked, but there are quite a few here that you should at least try to take something from and not entirely dismiss what theyre saying. Some fixes are indeed quite simple and could potentially sound exponentially better than your original plans with much less effort, or keep dismissing everything and carry on, not my system, will never hear it, couldnt really care less just trying to help.

I think it would be easier to make a baffle and put the components in the door than pulling a windshield. At least then you would get some midbass from those expensive components. but then again I always have common sense driving my narrative.

Oh boy this week me and installer guy have even MORE inherent restrictions on our time to work on this stupid little project of mine! Aside from the problem of getting my PHD speakers mounted adequately, we have THE WEATHER and Thanksgiving to schedule work time around! :-(

I REALLY don't want to pull the windshield. It's a perfectly good adequate windshield, it's just sitting obtrusively in the major way getting in the way to allowing adequate easy access to the problem area. I don't know what else to do about it. Oh, and you can always say "At least..." and it normally does NO GOOD AT ALL!! For example I can always say :Well at least the Earth is not gonna be hit by a major climate altering asteroid!" What good did that do you? None, right?

100 bucks says once this is done, it won't sound as good as he hoped. But that's ok. He claims to have messed with electronics years ago.

Most people have told him, no it's better to do it like this. No I don't got time for that he says. But it's better overall if it's done this way, because we have the know how and have done it before. His response: No. I don't like that idea. I prefer to do something else instead. WtF!!

If you guys quit giving advice, maybe just maybe he'll break down and finally listen to us.
