Just a small update, I have purchased a new starter battery, nothing special but bigger in capacity to the one I had before. Here they are just getting a boost up. I will get an Optima or similar as a starter eventually.

Some more progress, just tidying things up. 2 Voltmeters, one connnected to the 1st battery, the other wired direct to the amp. I have my dmm here for when im out and about playing the set obviously to monitor things and I added a couple of neons for some show. The IA amp is not connected as yet in the pics. Bigger box is now installed. 3.8cf with subs it works out to be 3.5cf @ 28hz and sounds BAAD ASSS (in my opinion anyway) I want to change the subs to dual 2ohm woofers so I can wake up the amp. Ive seen people build storage compartments into their install to hold some important tools like a DMM, but Ive never seen anyone want to actually display their DMM before. To me it looks like someone who has alot of problems with their system, so they feel the need to keep their DMM handy. Its not some impressive piece of equipment, it dosnt even look like its a Fluke but some cheapo instead.... remove it from view imo.

YUP, will do, I think Ima call it a day with this set up otherwise it just never stops. Will change the woofers finally and thats me done

Well not much has gone on since but a few new things are that I fried my Incriinator audio amp twice. The 1st tme, it just went poof after I just started the ignition and I think this was due to low voltages from my batteries as one was weak. Anyway, I had the amp repaired and replaced all the mosfets and a few resistors. The problem was on the power suppy side of things. After repair, the amp was live N kicking for a week or so and one day I was playing the set and giving it some and what happened again, POOF. This amp appears to be very sensitive & I am very conservative on my gains and have never had a problem with any other amp including my hifonics brutus amps and they have been played hard in the past. I am going to rebuild the whole power suppy this time and if it doesn't want to know after that ie blows up again, then I will just use another amp. I had my Brutus 2608 for ages and that used to get played hard and never had no problems. Im even using a temporary replacement spare of at the present which is my Dragster DA202 and that is only 800w rms bridged (underpowered) and its fine. I will just put it down to the amp and over the yrs I have learn't not to overdrive or clip my equipment. I personally think that I dont have enough electrical to back it at the minute which may explain why the amp keeps blowing so one more battery will be on order shortly. Still I cant undersatnd why the mosfets fried when I started the car.

I am going to purcase the new Hifonics 2610 amp and It will be the 3rd Brutus amp I have owned and which I have never had a problem with so will stick with that and the price is reasonable also they put out good power. They say the new series does rated power at 14.4V.

Those Incriminator amps are bullet proof, you had to have fucked something up for it to go poof not once but twice. Incriminator amps will shit all over those Brutus amps:fyi:

From what I've heard, this is true..

It sounds like electrical issues. That's pulling a lot of power, and if you drive around with it going loud most of the time, it won't have time to ever recharge. Even with a big battery, it'll eventually get drained. You should get a high output alt for the car.
