that poll is kind of meaningless....you have entry level subs like kicker comps and Type-E's mixed with something like a Solo-X that is vastly better then anything else on that list

spl=loud sq=sound quality

The two best subs on the list are the Solo X and the Alpine Type X. The Solo X is meant solely to get ridiculously loud, while the Type X is meant to get decently loud but sound very good.

Minus the solo x, the Type X is the best on there...thats what I would want from that list

My favorite sub on there is the type-r, because they are pretty nice IMO for a mainstream subs. I've heard to many horror stories about L5's and L7's going up in smoke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Like I'd rather do 4 type-r 12"s than a solo x 18".
