Yours look slightly different than mine. I ended up just trimming mine down and built my amp rack over them. I don't think you would have any problems if you sealed them up, its mostly just for relieving pressure when you close the doors and such. Only problem I had was that I would have to unbolt/move my bed around to get the vents out in one piece. Or a dremel could hack them up and pull them out in bits.
Looking forward to the rest of this, not too often to see a loud F350. Really curious to see how you like the mechman alt too. Are the D3100's going in the factory spots or are you adding them into the system somewhere else in addition to the 2 factory bats?

They will be replacing my Factory batts. Its been a slow start for sure. My best friend killed himself in iraq so ive been dealing with that and working with his family try to help them thru it all. The sand storms over there have delayed his body comming back to the states.
