I wouldn't run it below 2 ohm.They are dual mono blocks strapped inside one case.So each amp would be seeing .5ohms.From what I have seen they don't like to run below that without problems.

People always say you can do anything with good voltage. It helps, but it doesnt make a 2 ohm stable amp run at 1 ohm. Just like it doesnt make a 4 ohm stable amp run at 2 ohms.

If you had good voltage would you run a 4 channel with each channel @ 1 ohm when it is only stable at 2?

im runnin a MM 3000.1 at 1 ohm for about a year or 2 now... had NO problems....wants MOARRRRR

mm3000 is kinda different in some ways then: the rated 1ohm, though it could burp at .5 and the abillity to strap.

The amp is 1 Ohm STEREO which is the same as 2 ohm mono.

The differance between the 3000 and the 4000 is the internals.The 3000 is one amp which can be strapped.The 4000 is 2 mono amps already strapped internally.That is why it is only rated for 2 ohm mono and 1 ohm stereo.

Exactly. So if the 4000.1 was @ 1 ohm, each amp inside would be @ .5ohm.

So just run it @ 2 ohm.

Yeah... People really have a boner nowadays for running amps below their minnimum impedance and at double their RMS.
