MM4000.1 1 ohm daily

Ive heard from a couple people that this amp will do 1 ohm daily with a good electrical. I need 1 ohm and have 2 deka g31's a 250amp alt, and just about to buy a kinetik 2400. will the amp survive?

ya 1 ohm mono. i know its supposedly 2 ohm stable but i cant run 2 ohm.

I run mine right at 1.3 - 1.4 mono. after rise on a 46hz burp its seeing 2.8 ohm if i remember correctly

im hoping with the imp. rise i would be in a safer range..

Just buy an amp that will do 4,000rms @ 1 ohm.

i think you'll be okay, just watch your voltage and play with the amp a bit, see if it gets warm.

dont go crazy right away, just see what it can do before you go all out at 1 ohm.

can you borrow a 1ohm stable amp and play the sub in the box and find the impedence rise from there? then you will know if it will do 1.4 or so in your box

I had a friend run 1 at 1 ohm just make sure you have good voltage and you should be fine

more than likely you wont see much if any output difference
