hell no, optima is not even the best battery. it is one of the best for bang for your buck and all the things i listed earlier in this thread. cd batts are solid, but just like kinetics its not like they are amazing. if i was asking whats the best car audio battery, id understand your guys answer. but im asking what was better between yellow and red as i had already made up my mind for the optima because it had every feature i needed (as i listed earlier). when it comes down to a 1 battery setup, optima will dominate over kinetics all day long in almost every category but car audio.[\QUOTE]

hahahah get it, he wants to kick me off then id have to waste 5 minutes make an a/e. why does he want me booted? simply because i stated facts on what i wanted, why i wanted it, and why it is the best for my specific application. once i dogged on his battery, poor guy got upset and wants to offer money now. what ever shall i do? please dont boot me. i really didnt mean it, i swear. you know, the proving that optima is a better all around battery than kinetic. wait, what?

actually this is a decent answer. although i have already decided on the optima because it has everything i want (if you check earlier in my thread) but if you could find me a battery that had ALL those features, and yes, i want every single one of them, then i would consider the neither option.

for reference:

1) are they non corrosive???

2) do they have top AND side terminals for connection?

3) can i go to a local autozone or shop and get a same day replacement? and by same day i mean 15 minutes max??

4) kinetic car batteries for a 2000 ***** am: weight 54.5 pounds. Optima for 2000 ***** am: 31.8 pounds

5) if i am in the middle of a no where town 1,000 miles away and my battery dies, it is as easy as optima where i can call optima up and they will tell me the closest place to get a replacement, and once again, will take 15 minutes max?

6) what about crank amps? does the kinectic have 1000 ca?

7) car battery finder: optima red top model i have (196$). battery finder kinetik recommends a HC1800 or larger for my system at a very cheap price of 419.99$. hell for that i could just buy a second battery and run it in the back.

8) do they carry a 3 year no questions asked warranty like optima?

You should try reading ...............................i NEVER mentioned a Kinetik battery? The battery i mentioned would own ANY Optima on all rating points. RESEARCH sometime..................noob. Optima makes a good battery...................if you don't know any better.

You should try reading ...............................i NEVER mentioned a Kinetik battery? The battery i mentioned would own ANY Optima on all points. RESEARCH sometime..................noob. Optima makes a good battery...................if you don't know any better.

Kinetik HC1800 batteries cost ~$200 just about anywhere............................once again, try researching something other than Optima....................noob.

battery replacement for xs sounds slow from the google search i just ran. and to top it off, i need side terminals for my vehicle. so while your battery may be great, its not right for my application. and there is prob a better battery out there than your xs somewhere, hell it might belong on a submarine and weigh 1,500 pounds, does that mean i should tell you it could eat 18 of your xs batteries? no, i clearly stated what i wanted, and was needing help to decide between red and yellow. funny how you guys have to much trouble with answering red vs yellow and why? however the people at caf.com seem to be very helpful and respectful. must be an age/IQ difference or something.

once again, because you cant figure this out, the kinetic is missing half of the options i need. i stated that yes i could find it cheaper than the list price or 419$ which i can on ebay for 225$. without the warranty. if i want the 1 year warranty i have to pay 255$.

optima autozone price 196, ebay price WITH warranty, 134$. i dont know why the price is the big thing here anyways, sure it is a bonus, but why wouldnt i go with the cheaper of the 2 if the cheaper one has the features i need and the expensive one does not??? so sick you think you are creating a good argument

...................or we have EXPERIENCE with Optima and know they aren't as much of a battery as they are made out to be. I ran them in trail Jeeps for a while, XSPower gave me better service, longer reserve, faster charge rate and quicker starts(especially HOT starts), had to boost more than a few rigs that had Optimas. So tell me again....................how much better is an Optima?

lol, why did you list the price as $419, when you know it is not the actual price? You can keep pushing your parts store battery to the top, sorry if we know better.
