MIXED RESULTS: optima YELLOW top vs optima RED top

he wants to be right the whole time so bad he went and googled his states weather lows last year so he can prove some 1 wrong
this thread is full of lulz
amen, im dien with the kinetics > optima stuff. so funny, especially since i post facts proving them wrong and they still keep coming with umm well nothing actually

are you kidding me? what happens first with your battery? does it start your car in the cold? or does it play your audio system? i clearly stated i wanted a 1 battery setup = i need it to start my car as well as run my audio. jesus you people are stupid on here.
no..........i'm not kidding you..............................and i'm the one that was smart enough to research BEFORE i bought an OPTIMA. My XSPower D3100 will eat any TWO Optima's lunch.

pointless to argue with me because i put up SOLID facts and no one has counter proven them wrong. optima better in every field but car audio, which is what a battery is used for secondly anyways after starting your car. if im wrong, im wrong, but in this case, no one has proven any solid info countering what i have posted
optimas are junk you pay 200 dollars for a 50ah battery my c&d batts are 100ah cost about 60 dollars and have a 5year warranty so su(k on them n1pples

what lets here whats wrong with them that optima is so much better for because i gaurntee you dont know $hit about any other battery because you think optima is the only battery on the dam planet
hell no, optima is not even the best battery. it is one of the best for bang for your buck and all the things i listed earlier in this thread. cd batts are solid, but just like kinetics its not like they are amazing. if i was asking whats the best car audio battery, id understand your guys answer. but im asking what was better between yellow and red as i had already made up my mind for the optima because it had every feature i needed (as i listed earlier). when it comes down to a 1 battery setup, optima will dominate over kinetics all day long in almost every category but car audio.

ok so i HAD a red top battery, and my yellow top will be here wednesday according to JEGS.
1) allllll my online searches have came up with the yellow top being a better audio battery as it is deep cycle, even optima themselves recommended this battery, therefore i bought it!

2) Crutchfield recommends red top hands down, and BOTH of my local car stores recommend it as well. They say it is just so much quicker and responsive that they have no idea why anyone would want a yellow top. In fact i know 2 of them personally there who switched from Yellow to Red and said they would NEVER change it for the world.

So i am running this test myself and will know by the end of the week. just wanting to hear your thoughts, opinions, advice, stories. And yes, i know that having a second battery is obv the best option, but in cases where it is not applicable (like myself) or for whatever reason, which would you choose and most importantly WHY??????
Then dont put audio battery and crutchfield in your op

i would run a kinetik way before i would run optima...optima is not a car audio battery it is a start battery and thats it they decied that since they made it sealed they would say it would work great for car audio so they can get some more business...any battery that you buy new has a warranty on it...yeah its easy to get optima replaced if they go bad because there is so many dealers around, but you should not have a battery go bad within a year or else you are doing something wrong. For a audio shop to reccomend them is just stupid they arent to great of a shop because all good shops know what batterys work the best for car audio.

well all the local shops around here say NOT to go with kinectics. if you are going for a single battery setup go with optima red/yellow. if you are going for dual battery setup, red/yellow up front with stinger battery in rear or equivalent. but since im going for single battery setup.....

unless of course daily driver is out of the question and you are really going for all out audio. then yes, id have a kinetic, hell i might have 2 of them.

towards the end kinetik went down hill i will admit that so you dont want to buy them now...shuriken are dam near the same thing and i have heard good things about them....stinger wants thoes batteries go dead ur Fu(ked they dont charge back up...there are so many good brands out there tho...XS power, Treo, Shuriken, C&d, Deka, northstar some will say Stinger...optima is just over rated for what they actualy are
