Midrange&Midbass recomondations please

Hello. I'm looking to build a sterio. I've figured out everything ecept my midrange and midass setup. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a few companies that build decent equpment. I don't want to spend any more than $1000 on a set of components and a set of midbass.
