Max vs. RMS

Anyone know the true power rating of a Kicker XPL? Can this sub handle its max power rating as a daily driver. Not RMS but MAX? I have never seen anyone take a subs max actual put the max amount of watts to it for a daily driver.

A Burp maybe?

I can't see any sub lasting for a reasonable amount of time with its Max watts being put to it.

Maybe if you are reasonable with the volume and gains but if you decide to crank it up, how long could it last?

I have my 12inch kicker XPL's hooked up to a 2400 watt class "D" power acoustik amp so it can take more than 1000 watts im not even close to gettin them bottomed out yet

I have a question for you. Is that 2400 max or RMS? Do you have a link to the specs on that amp? Also, what are the ratings on the subs, and what kind of voice coils do they have?

Ok I found these subs on ebay. 500watts max/250 watts rms. Not to mention I could get two for under $100 bucks. You must have the gains completely down.
