taking out subwoofers...

well im taking my subs out, i got like 10/16 screws out. I used washers and nuts on the other side of the box, and now those 6 screws are stripped in there and wont come out. Anyone got a simple solution? I can cut my box open tommarow, but I wanted to get them packaged tonight...

You could try knocking the screw back and forth with a hammer and/or chizzle, then try and pull it out with pliars.

drill down into the screw, with the hole you should be able to pull it out, with another screw or with the bit

if you can get your hands on a dremel they are great for drilling out screws or removing unwanted metal lol

The nuts are probably just spinning back there, because they are just hanging, they have no pressure on them to hold them still as you turn the screw.

Have you tried putting a flathead screwdriver under the head of the screw, and pulling up on it, so the nut is held in place on the other side, against the wall of the enclosure?

yup, i just cut open the box. Its all good now, the nuts in there were just spinning, and the screws stripped the wood, so i had to use a hammer a little bit, anyway, thanks for the help.
