Many questions for upgrading.

I plan to spend about 300 for the whole setup: sub, box, and amp, if possible.

I took some measurements for my space.

Behind driver and passenger seats at floor level i have 12" to back wall. At a measurement 14" above the floor i have 8.5" from the seat to the wall. I sit upright a little more then some people.

In the middle behind my middle console to the back wall its 10", so if i got a box that went across both seats it would have to be 10" in the middle.

Im looking at 1 12 kicker and a box that would fit is here.

But i think that may be too small, any opinions?

Its .85 which is a little bigger then sonics.

Also what is the difference between the 05cvr's and 07cvr's? Would that be year? Because the specs are identical but the price is about half for the 05.

It states its 4ohm, so does that mean i buy a 2ohm sub dual voice coil and then just bridge the amp, according to crutchfield this will make the amp see 4 ohms total.
