3 mach 5s won't work... it would be a sub 1 ohm load.. (.67) ... amp not stable that low.

i had that sub on a 1605 and it worked pretty well...hit low 140s on a bad electrical system

With 2 18s, you can now only achieve a 2 ohm load.... can't get all the power...

Go with 1 hd3 15. One for sale in classifieds right now for 250 shipped... Dual 2, it would be perfect.

I never heard either woofer in person (mj18 or old HD3) im just wonderin which will be louder.. I know cone area.. but we're goin for SPl mainly and just sheer loud!

Just get a pair of MAW 15s. With that amp, you'll only be putting about 200w extra to each sub. I'm sure you can get away with that.
