I had a 15" JL W0 on 150 watts. Got pretty loud for what it was.

man i got bored upgraded the foam surround (it was old so i started to tear) to a rubber surround and push about 600 watts to a 10" w0 and it loves it. it is sealed though.

and man i had 150 running of a pr. in a slot ported box.. and it was crazy loud.

are you bridging a 2ch amp? so your looking at 4 ohm load? if so a pair of 8 ohm 10" -18" with high sensitivity or a single 15 or 18" 4ohm sub.

the biggest oldest most efficient sub you can find. any old school 18 will do

I built a 7 cube box tuned to like 32 hz with the intention of putting 4x type Rs in it. Well for the mean time i put 1 old school (300wrms) type r 12 in it..didnt realize till like 2 months later that it only had 100 watts going to it and it slammed
