Yeah chief, I'm not being picky; I'm trying to help you. Saying you want the best of something when it's 100% subjective is an impossible conversation to have. I'd look into the Fi BTL or the Audioque HDC line. Both will give you more room to add more power if you want to, but will still slam with what you've got.well if your going to be that picky. I got 5.925925925925926(out side)cf to work with, i think i want to port at 32hz..but not sure on that yet. And if your looking for what kind of music that would be rap. Oh and im looking for a daily sub.
mine does pretty good for daily?look into the fi audio bl or btl. btl will be more power hungry but will get louder than the bl. also the re mt is a really good spl sub but not so much of a daily gorund punder. on only 1500 wrms i would say Fi BL. mine takes 1800 watts daily...
look me up on youtube. im theevilone343
i was talking accuracy and clarity wise. the BTL will be the loudest/ most clear sub your going to buy. the MT is more spl oriented, meaning it will do better at higher notes, compared to the BTL's ability to hit nasty numbers and still do greta on the sq side (for being that loud)mine does pretty good for daily?
ive had an mt 12 15 and 18. they sound fine for daily and hit the lows very nicely in a box tuned 35 or under, imo.i was talking accuracy and clarity wise. the BTL will be the loudest/ most clear sub your going to buy. the MT is more spl oriented, meaning it will do better at higher notes, compared to the BTL's ability to hit nasty numbers and still do greta on the sq side (for being that loud)

If the OP takes anything away from this thread, this will be the most important //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifPick one of the 20 brands you have to choose from, based on whatever you feel is important, cheapest, coolest looking, support, forum boner most expensive just so you can be a baller. Its your choice you have many companies to pick from who all have drivers that will do well with 1.5kw
Everyone will have personal favorites, id go with a Mach 5 IXL myself, because i know mark makes a quality driver and has funky pup dust caps.
hehe, if I ever have to recone my BTL...it's totally getting a funky pup cap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It will add dbeez fo shoEveryone will have personal favorites, id go with a Mach 5 IXL myself, because i know mark makes a quality driver and has funky pup dust caps.
that would be pretty much the perfect airspace for a pair of Funky Pup 12's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifwell if your going to be that picky. if its going in a car an eighteen will not work. unless he walls it.just throwing it out there, if you have ~ 6 cubes net you have plenty of room to run an 18" nightshade, 4.5 ft ^3 net with 67.5 in^2 of port area (thats 15 in^2 per ft^3) with the port 21in long puts tuning ~33hz and the total with port is only 5.32 ft^2 figure .3 ft^3 for subwoofer displacement you should be right on the money...
