Product will only get yous so far in SPL. The install is a major factor. Hair tricks are also more bassed on install then actual product. The teg I bought from my buddy has 2 12" eclipse TI subs and an AQ2200D with a box I "fixed" from a prior build. It did hair tricks(the cheater way windows half up).

Max cuft for my trunk is 16

But i could take my back seats down and make the box alot bigger if needed

I just want it to be as loud as possible from a ported box and still hit pretty low

I got a email from audioque that 12 cuft is the recommended ported box size

I dont this is right for 2 18"s

12 cubes net is what I was going to do. But c'mon man break out the tape measure! I can't design you anything until I know how wide/deep the back of your Xterra is.

haha ok my bad but the back trunk is a wedge shape because the back seats are tilted at an angle.

ill give you the maximum rectangular area.

width is 41.5 inches thats from the left side of my car to the right side.

depth is 15 inches thats from the bottom of my rear view window to the bottom of the trunk

length is 37 inches from the back of the trunk to the farthest outward point of the back seats

i would like to create a wedge box but this may be complicated

Here it is, 12.5 cubes net volume, tuned to 33hz, 160in^2 port. Use 1.25" wooden dowels or 5/8" threaded rod from side/side, top/bottom, and front/back for bracing.

Cuts:

Top/bottom: 41"x36"

Front/back: 41"x19.5"

Sides: 34.5"x19.5"

Port top piece: 20"x21.5"

Port side pieces: 20"x8"

ah sweet man thanks but what do you mean by Use 1.25" wooden dowels or 5/8" threaded rod from side/side, top/bottom, and front/back for bracing.

?

and this is with 3/4" mdf board right? all the displacements calculated in?

ok yeah those wooden dowels wont be moving much? should i wood glue them and screw em or just woodglue? and i heard something about seperating the chambers so the two subwoofers dont interfere with eachother while playing? should i seperate the chambers?
