i have 2 of the RF HX2 8's and they need rebuilt, the rubber surround has a cut in it, the inner part of the spyder is ripped. can they be rebuilt? is there a kit out there for it.

if not what is comparable to them, i do like them a lot.

its hard to find hx2 parts, as for replacements everybody's got a boner over DD 1508's or even 1008s. Sundown e8's are an option too, but I dunno if their power handling is as high

where can i get shims and wht type of glue?

i use index cards for shims. you can get ca glue w/ activator at bob smiths adhesives.
