Dang, so much hate. People black out Tahoe tail lights all the time, and nobody makes a big deal about it..

Dang, so much hate. People black out Tahoe tail lights all the time, and nobody makes a big deal about it..

It's far from hate. It's the truth buddy, I had my headlights & tails sprayed when my truck was in the body shop. They were black as body panels. Did light shine through ? Yes. Someone almost smashed into me at a red light cause my brake lights were about as bright as running lights. That was enough for me to swap everything out and buy new lights. I understand the murdered out look, I've done it to a few cars. But a police office will tell you. You sir " altered " the visibility of the lights which cause an accident.

I think pure black is meh, but some semi-black tail lights look good. For example, the black with red leds. Those you can clearly see but still look sick, depends on the car though.

Ya those are to dark, I almost rear ended a truck the other night because his brake lights were same brightness as taillights, couldnt tell he slammed on his brakes. It's one thing it put 1-2 coats of tint. It's another to black them out..

I'll see how they look when installed. Hopefully you can still see enough.

That was two coats of spray specifically for blacking out tail-lights.

Christine is currently under construction.. Adam is coming to help me install my battery bank tonight at 6

Still got the Z in for now, taking it out tommorow and starting on the baffle

Removed my headunit from the center, to make room for extra baffle space

It's installed on the left side now. All hooked up, except the power and ground. Need to get some more wire nuts/bolts

These are the tail-lights before being sprayed. I wasn't too fond of the grid pattern.
