L7 Vs. XXX Vs. Type R

i would say the the type-r because its so much cheaper. but the XXX is probly a little better in the SQ range, but i doubt its louder. and ill bet the L7 would be loud but with disapointing SQ

You people and you L7's have no SQ. L7's won lots of comps and very big oens at that. no they dont have ot be custom built. as a matter of fact from what i've heard from even team kicker members is that kicker wont custom build even a better voice coil config

As far as SQL goes a type R is NOT louder than a XXX. I'm not even sure what the actual limits of the Type R is, I know the XXX is limited around 33mm or so, just a little beyond it's X-max. Meaing the sub is very linear all the way through it's stroke. Assuming a type R can get that kind of excursion at all, it wont' be doing it linearly. The XXX and the type R aren't even in the same league, that's part of why I quit even visiting this forum. Too many Type R boners./Tcab boners because teenagers think they can hit 150. The type R's are a good loud budget sub, that's it.

When i first say this thread posted i didnt respond, I was just laughing to myself, like a Type R and L7, are not even on the same playing field as an XXX //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif , I was waiting for people to state the obvious that a XXX would own all of these subs, in a minute, The Hype R, and L7 are both kinda off budget subs, come on the R and l7 can ownly handle the most 1000 watts contonious //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif, while a xxx can take like 1500 - 2000 ..... and saying a type r is louder than and xxx, IMO is just crazy........

i kno the L7s have more in it. and it was a 53.3 wit my batts to the same shape as they were at casper. im sure they can do a 55. and they are def louder to ear. awesome street beat subs

I have heard both.

L7 gets loud but no SQ!!!!!!

XXX gets loud also but retains very good SQ.
